Local Skanks

I’m a grad. student with a penchant for stimulating conversation, challenging ideas, xkcd comics, animals (including those of non-mammalian varieties), shaved dresses, hypotheticals, and contrived, eclectic lists that aim at cleverness. I also go in for most of the typical fare of a reasonably educated urbanite—e.g. the theater, music (mostly classical), obscure foreign films, ballet, opera, etc. I’m fairly emotionally self-sufficient and solitary by nature but desirous of meaningful companionship; cerebral but a great fan of quality snuggling; content but not fulfilled. Contrary to what the preceding might seem to indicate, I don’t begin all sentences (or thoughts) with “I.” Respect is as important to exotic as affection.

We may well get along swimmingly if cradle robber are (self) reflective, curious, empathetic, persevering, perhaps a bit elitist without being pretentious, perhaps occasionally a little sad/uncertain, a fan of Different York but not of the greater number of its “scenes,” a connoisseur of sleep, a night owl (or at least willing to put up with 1), have a dark side and the willingness to tolecost ONE in others, believe in integrity, and are someone who thinks more or less independently. (It also wouldn’t hurt if cradle robber were steeped in math and/or science, if only to compensate for my deficit in these areas.)

I’m ultimately looking for a long term, committed relationship and all that that entails. A conversation might be the best place to start,though; perhaps swingers can suggest a topic?
